@Pardoel "Da Blaue" was the 1000 ATS bill in Austria :) Unfortunaly the euro bills dont have nice nicknames

@Obraka The original bill for ƒ25,00 worth of gold was yellow :) A "rooije" (sometimes "rooie rug" or simply "rug", which is Dutch for "back" as in your back) was a bill worth ƒ1000,00.

@Pardoel Please tell me atleast some version of this bill was really yellow. Otherwise it makes now sense at all, because roodjes would sound as nice :)
Knaak = ƒ2,50 (coin) Joet = ƒ10,00 (bill) Geeltje = ƒ25,00 (bill, means "yellow" but the bill was actually red...)
They were the nicknames for various coins and bills of the Gulden, the Dutch coin before the Euro. Similar to Canada's Loonies and Toonies.

Bedankt voor je reactie! De datum onderbreekt inderdaad in deze weergave vorm; hier is notitie van gemaakt. Tot een paar maanden geleden werd het alleen geleverd als "controlled production", waarbij vanuit Invantive development de vinger direct aan de pols...
